Yes, you can purchase a discounted ticket with an alumni card.

Yes, external tickets can be purchased on the nagyerdeistadion.hu website.

Freshmen can only purchase tickets for the standing area. (ARENA). You can purchase your ticket on:  https://nagyerdeistadion.hu/en

Each university member can purchase up to 3 additional discounted tickets besides their own.

Yes, as long as they arrive with their student friend. ID checks will be carried out at the entrance.

No, yoUDay tickets are only valid for the Stadium Show. A separate ticket is required for the after-party.

For those who do not have a bank card, we provide the option to purchase tickets with cash at the ticket offices on the zoo side of the stadium on the 15th and 16th between 2 PM and 6 PM.

Ticket validity will be checked using an entry system. A printed ticket is required, and you must use the gate indicated on your ticket.

Yes, for the ARENA (floor) section, tickets must be exchanged for a wristband before the event. Wristbands can be collected at the University of Debrecen Main Building, the Debrecen Fórum shopping mall, or the Ticket Office at the Nagyerdei Stadium.

We recommend arriving on time, as long queues might cause you to miss important parts of the show.

You must exit through the gate indicated on your ticket. Your ticket will be scanned again upon re-entry.

Entry is free for children up to 6 years old ("lap-sitting age").

Requested tickets will be delivered in bulk to our corporate partners and distributed to staff by their unit managers.

Food and drinks can be purchased at the catering units (KIOSKs on the entry level) inside the Nagyerdei Stadium, as well as from the temporary drink bars set up in the ARENA area.

It is strictly forbidden to bring items particularly dangerous to public safety, including pyrotechnic devices, weapons, alcoholic beverages, any kind of drugs, glass objects, and large quantities of food.

If the issue persists, send us your university ID (eduID), and we will investigate the problem. Look for the "Support" menu option on the website.

Everyone who registers for the flag ceremony is required to attend all rehearsals and be present at the event itself. Participation is mandatory. After the event, we will issue an official certificate confirming your involvement.

Purpose and Nature of Data Processing


The University Day is a celebration of community and joyful entertainment. This year, the new academic year will again be welcomed with a large-scale opening event held at the Nagyerdei Stadium.


The processing of personal data is carried out for technical and organizational purposes necessary for the event. It applies to data provided via the contact form available on https://youday.hu/.



Scope of data processed: first name, last name, email address, university LDAP ID.


Legal basis: GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and Article 9(2)(a) – data subject's consent.


Retention period: the data will be retained by the University of Debrecen for 10 days following the event.


Access: Only staff involved in organizing and coordinating the event, who are bound by confidentiality and legal responsibility.


Data transfer: Personal data will not be transferred to third parties.



Rights of Data Subjects



  • Right to information: request information about the processing of their personal data (Article 15(1) GDPR).

  • Right to access: receive a copy of their personal data (Article 15(3)-(4) GDPR).

  • Right to rectification: request correction of inaccurate data (Article 16 GDPR).

  • Right to restriction of processing: in the following cases:

    • if the accuracy of the data is contested

    • if processing is unlawful but deletion is not requested

    • if the controller no longer needs the data but the data subject requires it for legal claims

    • if the data subject objects to processing, pending verification of the objection
